Easy Die Cut Only Cards

These are quick and easy C6 cards!

They feature different die-cut layout ideas, 2 different ways to add interest to card backgrounds, and super duper easy colour using Pawsitively Saturaded Inks by Simon Says Stamp.

Dimensional Cubes Background

First, I worked on the background panel for this card.

I used a piece of Neenah 80 lb cardstock and using SSS blending brushes, I applied through the Dimensional Cubes stencil ( 3 pack stencil) Citrine, Lemonade, and Tidepool Pawsitivel Saturades Inks.

Next, I die-cut the Blossom Vine out of Neenah 80lb cardstock and I thought that adding some leaves will benefit this composition.

The Privet Branch wafer die was perfect for this porpoise.

Once I had all the die-cuts ready, I applied Cadette and Tropic Pawsitivel Saturades Inks over the flowers.

For the leaves, I used Pearfection and Pine mainly ( I added a hint of Lemonade to add highlights).

Then, I glued the die-cuts over the stencilled panel, and just like you do with real flowers, I just cut parts here and there to create the arrangement.

I applied over the die cuts Spellbinders Sparkle Silk to I used Peach Opalescent sequins by Spellbinders to embellish.

Dibble Dot, Flowers, and Birdie Card

To make this card I first embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Dibble Dot 3D Embossing folder.

In the video here I show how to use 3D embossing folders ( Minute: 01:14 – 01:32).

Then, I die cut the Blossom Vine and the Privet Branch wafer dies.

I applied the same colours used for the card above:

To complete this card, I also die-cut the little bird using the Layered Chickadee wafer dies and I applied the ink left in the brush after colouring the blue flowers + a hint of Tidepool Pawsitivel Saturades Ink.

I glued it all together over the embossed panel and I applied over the die cuts Spellbinders Sparkle Silk to add shine.

To embellish, I used Peach Opalescent sequins by Spellbinders.
