Hello Everyone, Colorado Craft is celebrating a special Christmas In July Release, featuring stamps from Anita Jeram, Kris Lauren, Savvy Sentiments and Big & Bold!
I made a couple of cards to share ideas using the new:
- Anita Jeram Christmas Hats stamp set.
- The little penguins from Chillin Gnomies by Kris Lauren stamp set.
To complete these cards I also sentiments from the following stamp sets:
- Holiday Sparkle Greetings stamp set by Simon Says Stamp
- Christmas Kitties stamp set by Simon Says Stamp

Anita Jeram Christmas Hats
This is an 8-1/2 x 4″ inches card.
To make it, I used images from Anita Jeram Christmas Hats.
I used the Misti ( stamping Tool) and Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, to stamp the images and the sentiments on Arches watercolour paper.
To add colour, I used Zigs (water-based markers) and I used a Nuvo Water Brush to spread and blend the colour.
For extra texture, I applied a little bit of Distress Picket Fence Spray over my glass mat and I mixed it with water. Then splattered it over the panel.
Chillin Gnomies
This is a 6-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ card and here is a avery simple idea to use the small stamps from Chillin Gnomies by Kris Lauren.
So I also stamped the tiny penguins using the Misti ( stamping Tool) and Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, on Arches watercolour paper and I added colour using Zigs (water-based markers).
I splattered Distress Picket Fence Spray mixed with water over the panel and also the black ink of a Zig marker dilutes ith water.
Using a fine tip pen, I also draw grass ( just to add a little something in that area)
BTW!! It is hard to see but I added a Sakura Black Gel Pen over the eyes of some critters to add a glossy accent.
To embellish both cards, I also use the new Spellbinders Teal Opalescent Sequins.
