Spellbinders Glimmer of the M0nth – July 2020

Hi there, I hope you are having a great day!  Today I have a couple of cards made using the Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month – July 2020!

glimmer of the month ADD ON Labels DiE SET

There is an add on die set that coordinates with the Glimmer of the Month -July 2020 called Nestabilities Essential Label Etched Die Set.

This die set will cut the three different foiled frames created by the Glimmer plates and it also will create inlaid die cut dotty pattern around the panels. It is simply stunning and I also use it for my cards today.

silver hot foil frames

Although the glimmer of the month kit includes “Polished Brass Foil Roll“, a beautiful gold hot foil colour. I decided to use Matte Silver Glimmer Hot Foil Roll .

I really want to show you the beauty of the hot foiled banners enhanced when used in combination with Nestabilities Essential Label Etched Die Set and how these two sets together will frame cards for any occasion.

They will give you some versatility as you can combine the dies and hot foiled images in different ways.

So I made a birthday card using also Mr &Ms Wedding Cake die set and Every Day II Glimmer Plates… [You can see another card using Mr &Ms Wedding Cake die set here.]

Behind the cake, I glued a couple of floral die-cuts to add texture. These are made using dies from the Spellbinders Die of the Month – July 2020.

I also made a more generic card using similar elements and a stamped sentiment from Greeting Mix 2 stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.

I added a hint of colours to the little foiled leaves and floras using Copic markers.
