Love You, Mama
This lovely set is a Mother’s Day-themed stamp set that can be used all year round to celebrate the special people in our lives, and mums, carers, or teachers are at the top of the list, don’t they?
It features sweet storybook-style illustrations of elephants, bears, cats, dogs, and rabbits. Ideal for crafting heartfelt cards and keepsake projects that will truly tug at heartstrings.

CardS Recipe
These are C6/A2 top and side fold cards. They measure 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
- Simon Says Clear Stamps Love You Mama
- Squovals Wafer Dies
- Clearly Besotted Cloudy Days Stencil or Clouds for Days Stencil
- Simon Says Tacky Mats.
For the backgrounds, I used mostly the inks that were on my blending brushes – by this, I mean I did not reink the brushes.
However, in certain areas I needed a hint of colours so I used the following inks:
- Sage
- Caddette
- Heather
The Process

1 Step
- I started by stamping the images onto Strathmore Watercolour paper using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
To get crisp and clear images, especially over textured watercolour paper, I used the Stampwheel (stamping tool)

2 step
- Then, I added colours using Zig brush markers.

3 step
- Once the inks were dry, I die-cut the panels using the larger die from the Squovals Wafer Die set. This would give your main image a lovely, clean frame.

4 step
- Next, I placed them over a Simon Says Stamp Sticky Mat, and I used a cloud stencil to add a subtle texture to the background.
I also added just a hint of ink along the base of the panel to ground the images.

5 STep
- Finally, I stamped the sentiments using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. You can use the Stampwheel to ensure those words are perfectly crisp.
- To affix the die-cut panels to the card bases, I used Nuvo Deluxe adhesive.
That’s all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
