Anita Jeram Bunnies and Hamsters Stamps

Hi crafty friends, I’m passing by to share two card ideas using stamps from the Anita Jeram Summer Garden release.

These are very simple ideas that invite you to enjoy water-colouring, then die-cutting the images to easily lay them down over an inked background.

The Cardmaking Process

Step 1

• Stamp the images on Arches watercolour paper using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
• Use the Misti ( stamping tool) to achieve crisp images.

Step 2

• Add colour to the images using your fav water-based markers.
• I like using Zig brush markers. It is easy to work with these markers. The colours are vibrant.

Step 3

• Once the inks are dry, die-cut the images using coordinating dies and set aside.

Step 4

• Trim a 5-3/4″ square background for the 6×6 card.
• Use the larger die from the Postage Edge Slimline die set to die-cut the background panel of the slimline card.
• Apply Broken China Distress Oxide on the top portion of the panel (allowing a white area in the centre to stamp the sentiments).
• Then, apply Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink at the bottom of the panel using a large blending brush.
• Stamp the grass using the Grener Gras stamp set and Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
• Use the Misti ( stamping tool) to achieve crisply stamped images.
• Mix Black Soot Distress ink with water and splatter the panels.

Step 5

• Use adhesive foam pads to stick the images over the panels.
• Stamp the sentiments using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
• Use the Misti ( stamping tool) to achieve crisply stamped images.
• Add some sparkle by adding sequins.
