Hello Crafty friends, I’m passing by to share a quick and easy card design idea using the new Bold Flower Wafer Dies by Simon Says Stamp.
At first, I planned to use the abstract flower shapes to create a fun background, but as I started experimenting, things took a different turn! I ended up creating a bold and striking card topper instead.

Card Recipe
This is a C6/A2 card. It measures 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
- Bold Flower Wafer Dies
- Nested Round Hearts Wafer Dies
- Banner Greetings Stamps and Dies set
- Simon Says Stamp Coloured Cardstock
The Cardmaking Process

The cardmaking process was super simple!
I die-cut purple, lilac, and blue cardstock, then assembled the flowers by referring to the image on the packaging. Each flower consists of five layered pieces—so easy to put together!
Once all the flowers were assembled, I arranged and glued them to cover the cutting area of one of the largest dies from the Nested Round Hearts Wafer die set. Then, I placed the die over the arrangement and ran it through my die-cutting machine to create a shaped floral heart.
I foam-mounted the floral heart onto a 5-1/4″ x 4″ lilac panel.
Then, I gold heat-embossed one of the sentiments from the Banner Greetings Stamps and Dies set onto a piece of purple cardstock, die-cut it, and foam-mounted it in the centre of the heart.
To finish, I adhere the front panel to a C6/A2 card base.
Done!
