Hello crafty friends, we are celebrating a new Simon Says Stamp Released called Splendor and I made a couple of Easte treat Boxes to feature some of the new goodies.
From the Splendor Release, I used the new Bunny Kisses Stamp Set and Simple Flowers Wafer Dies to create a little tag.
I’m also sharing an easy-to-mast-produce Easter Treat Box idea in which panels were cut using the Floral Medallion Wafer Dies.
Easter Treat Box Idea
These treat boxes measures 6-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ x 2″
They are very easy to make and they can add a very nice touch to any small gift…
I hope you give them a try!
You can make them in any colour and add handles.
Easter Treat Box Recipe
To make these boxes I used the following supplies:
- 250 grams cardstock for the boxes
- 300 grams cardstock for the tags
- Bunny Kisses Stamp Set ( bold layered bunny image and sentiments)
- Simple Flowers Wafer Dies ( decorative flowers)
- Label Tags Wafer Dies ( shaped tag)
- Floral Medallion Wafer Dies (inlaid die-cut image on the box panels)
- Spellbinders Corner Punch (to round the corners and create a notch or the ribbon)
- Black Simon Says Stamp Ink ( to stamp the sentiment)
- Cheeky, Blush, Sage, Aegean Pawsitively Saturated Inks ( bunny colours)
Easter Treat Box Making Video
- To make each box, you will need an A4 sheet of cardstock ( any colour – 250 grams preferable)
- For the box body, you will need 2 pieces of cardstock that measure 8-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
- Both need to be scored across the shorter side at 1″, 2″, and 6-1/2″
- To make the sides you will need two pieces that measure 3″ x 1″ and then you will need to score at 1/2″ and 2-1/2″ across the shorter side of these small pieces.
- The handle is 1/2 inch wide and it is about 8″ long (you can adjust the length)
