Hi crafty friends, from time to time I like to do silly projects like these Animal Print Kids Treat Boxes.
These are cute and fun little projects to share with the little ones.
To give a different look to these treat boxes I used the new Animal Print Stencil by Simon Says Stamp…

The new Animal Print Stencils (pack of 3 stencils) measure 6×6 inches and allow you to create patterns in leopard, giraffe, and zebra prints.
Animal Print Kids Treat Boxes

Boxes Recipe
- Animal Print stencil by Simon Says Stamp
- Mocha ( brown), and a hint of Cherry Pawsitively Saturated Ink for the leopard and giraffe.
- Morning (bluish) Pawsitively Saturated Ink for the zebra
- Envelope Punch Board
- Reverse Wild About You sentiment strips.
- Old wiggly eyes I had in my stash
- Twine
- Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive

Box Making Process
The base of these mini boxes assembled measures 2-1/2″ (length) x 1-1/2″ (height) x 1-3/4″ ( wide) inches.
- Each box requires a 5-1/2″inches square piece of paper.
- Affix the stencil to the paper using Very Very Low Tack Tape by Simon says Stamp.
- Use soft blending brushes to apply ink through the Animal Print Stencil
- Allow the ink to dry.
- Align the edge of the paper at 2″ inches on the envelope punch board to punch and score a line.
- Then move the paper to 4″ inches and punch and score a second line.
- Use the scoring lines as a guide to scoring the other sides of the box.
- Fold and shape.

I know… My giraffe looks more like a gremlin. I think I chose the wrong eyes lol.
Well, perhaps an idea to make other critters or monsters.

Super Adorable boxes!!!!!
what is 5-5/2″? 5 by 5 paper?, but then what is the 2″?
Hi,
Thanks for making me aware that was a typo.
It is “5-1/2″ inches square piece of paper”
2″ = 2″ inches.
