Hello everyone, today is the release of new WOW Embossing Powders and Fab Foils colours and I made 2 very simple cards to share very basic techniques and ideas with you.
The release includes two new embossing powder trios and a single powder bottle:
- Reputation trio.
- Christmas Tinsel trio.
- Santa’s Beard single bottle.
It also includes 3 new Fab Foils colours :
Stamping and Fab Foil How To?
I have used the new Satin Sepia Fab Foil to share a simple foiling technique:
- It is ideal to use the Misti Stamping Tool to stamp the image multiple times in the same spot using a slow-drying clear ink.
- Then, you will need to sprinkle Wow Bonding Powder, remove the excess from the paper, and heat it up.
- When the powder is melted and still hot, place the WOW Fab Foil over and press it down to adhere it to the bonding powder.
- As the powder will quickly cool down you can apply heat at the back of the paper piece to melt it down again and to re-apply foil on the areas that aren’t well covered.
- Only remove the foil when the piece is cold to the touch or you risk pealing off the powder from the cardstock.
DIY Spiner Xmas Card
For this card, I simply die-cut a heart-shaped window in the front panel and also the card base front and I sandwiched it in between the spinner.
I also added colour and heat-embossed accents to the die-cuts using the new embossing powder colours.

Dear Bibi,
these cards are elegant and cute simultanously. And a bit “hygge” like in Scandinavia. I like them a lot!
