Hi crafty friends, for today I have easy card ideas using Simon Says Stap 3D embossing folders, Beeswax and the Stardust Metallic Pigments by Stamperia.
Main supplies used in this post:
- Turtle Doves die set ( Birds)
- Fiddly Leaf Wafer Die ( wreath)
- Vine Canopy Embossing Folder ( Red embossed background)
- Pinpoints Srarlets Embossing Folder ( Dark Green embossed background)
- White – Sentiments Strips Holiday Wishes ( Red Card)
- Black – Sentiments Strips Reverse Holiday ( Dark green card)
- BEESWAX Finish Stamperia ( medium to adhere the Stardust Metallic Pigments)
- Golden Sun Stardust Metallic Pigment ( Red Card)
- Silver Moon Stardust Metallic Pigment ( Dark green card)

Stardust Metallic Pigments
- The Stardust Metallic Pigments are superfine sparkling powders, mess-free and easy to use.
- They are available in 7 differnt colours.
- For today, I used gold and silver pigments.
- The Stardust Metallic Pigments can be applied over any part of your projects or over different non-pours surfaces.
- All you have to do, is to apply Beeswax first then use a soft brush to apply the Metallic Pigments over (so they will stick to the wax).
The shine is insane and hard to catch in pictures but I defo will be making a video to show you all the colours.
Cardmaking Process
- First, I embossed the background panels using Vine Canopy and Pinpoint Starlets 3D embossing folders by Simon Says Stamp.
- Using my fingertips, I applied BEESWAX over the raised areas of the embossed panels.
- Then, I applied the Stardust Metallic Pigments over using a dry/soft brush.
- The powders will stick to the wax.
- Next, I die-cut little branches using the Fiddly Leaf Wafer Die out of Magestic Gold Cardstock indluded in the 6×6 Gold Hearted Paped Pad in the picture below.
- I also die cut a thin circle using circle dies and I glued the golden branches over to make little wreaths.
- to make the doves/ birds I used Turtle Doves die set and white cardstock.
- The bow and the beack of the doves were die cut out of Satin Gold cardstock also included in the 6×6 Gold Hearted Paped Pad.
- To add interest, I added some Grass Green and Soft Cooper pearls by Picket Fence Studios.
- The sentiments are pre-printed. The white sentient is from the Strips Holiday Wishes pack, and the black is from the Strips Reverse Holiday pack
