Hello crafty friends, today I’m sharing cardmaking and papercraft ideas using Color Burst Liquid Watercolor and also the Curvy Girl Alphabet Pegz Stamps.
These products are sold by Contact Crafts USA ( Amazon seller) and I have established a collaboration with them to create reels filled with ideas, colour swatches, and samples using their products.
To feature the liquid colour and the Pegz stamps, I also used :
- Ukraine’s Sunflower Stamp set by CCC
- Summer Labe Motifs die set by Spellbinders
- Strawberry Patch the August Large Die of the Month by Spellbinders
- Lotza Trianglez Stencil by AALL & Create
- Tim Holtz Texture Paste.

Note: These are the same shades as the Brights Color Burst Watercolor Powders in the post here!
Liquid or Powders
- The main difference is the presentation of the product. One is liquid ready to go, the other is powder.
- As the powders are concentrated by adding very little water you can get a more intense colour.
- In both cases, a little bit of product goes a long way. However, the powders could last longer.
- Price wise the powders can be found for around $25 USD and the Liquids cost around $20 USD.
- I also found the powders to be slightly more staining than the liquid colours.
- The powders also seem to have a higher dispersion but again both products have high diffusion.
The Samples
To make these cards, I used the Strawberry Patch – August 2022 Large Die of the Month by Spellbinders.
As I wanted to show you different colour blends for the card above I mainly mixed primary colours. For the card below, I mixed complementary colours achieving a greyish look on the leaves.
By mixing red and green liquid watercolours I also made brown. You can create endless shades tho.
For this card, I used the Big & Bold~Ukraine’s Sunflower Stamp set by CCC.
This stamp set represents an awesome opportunity to share in aid to Ukraine. All the proceeds from the sale of this stamp set and the matching die set will go to aid the war effort on the ground.
So to make this card, I started by applying colour to the flower using different shades in the Color Burst Liquid Watercolor Set.
I wanted to see the colour dispersion so if you apply water over the paper the Color Burst Liquid Watercolors will reach any wet area. The diffusion is high.
For the background, I also applied Ultramarine Blue liquid watercolour, using a blending brush and the Lotza Trianglez Stencil.
The sentiment was gold heat embossed and I used Curvy Girls Pegz Stamps also featured in this post.
This card also features the different colours and blends you can achieve by using the Color Burst Liquid Watercolors.
The butterflies were die cut out of a piece of watercolour paper coloured using the Liquid Colours and the Summer Labe Motifs die set by Spellbinders.
For the background, I mixed the Ultramarine Blue liquid colour with Tim Holtz Texture Paste and I used the Lotza Trianglez Stencil to transfer the pattern to the panel.
The sentiment was gold heat embossed and I used Curvy Girls Pegz Stamps also featured in this post.
