Hello there, I don’t really know how many years ago Simon Says Stamp released the Picture Book dinosaur die-sets, I’ve been resisting them for a very long time and I finally got them with my last order.
I think they are a cute little addition to my stash and I made 2 cards using other supplies listed below.
I also used :
- Basic Box Card Happy Birthday
- Stacking Hearts
- Mini Flowers and Leaves
- Bunch of Balloons
- Dimensional Stars Stencils
- Holographic Silver Cardstock

Love you Sweet Friends Dinosaurs Card
I die cut all the pieces out of Neenah 80lb cardstock and I added colour using Pawsitively Saturated Inks listed below:
For the background, I die cut a square panel using the larger die from Double Stitching Dies by Honey Bee stamps.
To complete the topper I die cut 2 hearts using the Stacking Hearts die set.
I die cut one out of white smooth cardstock and the other one out of a blue glitter card I had in my stash.
I added a banner made using Simon Says Stamp Preprinted Sentiment Strips and I added a backing panel made out of Marina Mist Mirror Cardstock.
To embellish I used Mini Flowers and Leaves and blue gems.
Happy Birthday Dinosaur Card
To make this C6 card, I used Picture Book T-Rex die set and white smooth cardstock.
I also applied ink over the die cuts and then I assembled the critter.
I was experimenting. So for the background, I used Bunch of Balloons to create a shaker element. In the end, it was quite easy to make.
I cover the shaker with gold and silver die cuts ( I just trimmed them so the strings are silver and the ballons got a silver edging)
That’s all for today.
I hope you enjoyed this post.
