The Cardmaking Process

To make these C6 cards, I stamped the images on Strathmore watercolour paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink and the Misti stamping tool.
Then, I applied colours using Zigs and a Nuvo Aqua Flow Brush [ In the video here I show how to do this using similar images ]
Next, I die-cut the images using the coordinating dies and the Platinum 6″ Spellbinders die cutting machine.

The Backgrounds
I first applied different colours of absolutely gorgeous Simos Says Stamps Pawsitively inks through the Dimensional Stars stencil using SSS blending brushes over Neenah 110lb cardstock.
Then, I used the Heart Mask stencil over two of the background panels to add a stencilled heart in which I could seat the images.
Using Simon Says Stamp Marquee wafer dies, I die-cut the stencilled panels.
Finishing Touches
To finish, I affixed the images over the panels using Dimensional Foam Adhesives.
Using the Misti stamping tool and Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink I stamped the sentiments from different stamp sets.
To add a decorative accent to the eyes, I used a Sakura black glaze pen.

That’s all for today.

Oh gosh, those kitties are the cutest! And your colors remind me of “Miss Piggy.” Perfect for these little Divas.
So colorful and fun as well as beautiful.
