Hello there, today I’m sharing another card idea using Thankful Magnolia Stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.
This is a C6 card and to make it, I foiled the stamped image using the Minc Foil Applicator Starter Kit and the Minc Toner Ink.
To do the stamping I used the Misti stamping tool as well.
In the previous post here, I’m sharing tips and I explained the foil transfer process in more detail.
As I foiled the images in a soft blue cardstock colour, I decided to use Copic Markers to add colour.
I noticed that in some areas of the image, the foil got silver when passing the markers over.
The Thankful Magnolia Stamp set has a coordinating die but I fussy cut the image using scissors and a craft knife.
Then, I used foam pad adhesives to adhere it to an embossed background panel made using the new Tim Holtz 3D canvas embossing folder.
For the sentiment, I used the ” Birthday” die from Yana’s Layered Scrips Sentiments die set.
To complete it, I added a small black banner with the word “Happy” that was hot foiled using a hot plate from Mini Every Day Sentiments Glimmer plates.
To do hot foiling ( different from foil transfer), I used the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die-cutting machine, and Polish Brass hot foil.
