Spellbinders August 2021 Small Die

The Small Die of this month is called Hex Kaleidoscope Tile

Includes 6 dies.
The die set will cut a beautiful hexagonal shaped frame and a kaleidoscope that can be use to create different projects from C6, mini slimline, large slimline, tags and boxes.

I truly love the kaleidoscope it is very versatile!

I decided to use the decorative die cuts panels to add an X factor to a very simple box.

This box measures 6-1/4″ x 3-1/2 ” inches and it is 2 “ deep.

To make the box, I used the Scoring Board and I also used a die from Mini Slimline Envelope and Nested Card Creator – JULY 2021 – Large Die of the month ( sold out).
You will need 2 pieces of crastock that measures 10-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ and score at 2″.
Assemble the box base first. Then place the piece for lid over the base and glued the corners in a position that fits the base shape.
To make the hot foiled banner, I used a glimmer plate from Mini Everyday Glimmer Sentiments ( the most useful glimmer sentiments ever)

Spellbinders August 2021 Large Die

The Large Die of this month is called Hex Kaleidoscope Slimline.

It will create a decorative intricate panel and kaleidoscope for slimline cards but it can be used to decorate box panels or any other crafty project.

It includes 5 dies ( in the picture above)
The Slimline Card Size is about 8-1/4 x 3-1/4 inches.
for this card I also use a glimmer plate from Yana’s Special Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set .
The little hot foile florals were mae using Diamond Floral Frame Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set

Spellbinders August 2021 Hot Foil

This month, the Hot Foil kit is called “Hex Floral” and the kit also includes coordinating “Bright Pink Foil Roll“.

The set includes 4 hot foil plates and 1 cutting die.

It also includes a beautiful hexagonal banner that can be used alone to create a little tag and it coordinates with the Small Die – Hex Kaleidoscope Tile and the Large Die – Hex Kaleidoscope Slimline

I used Polish Brass hot foil instead to show the glimmered images.
To add colour, I used Arteza Coloured Pencils
The vellum butterfly was hot foiled and to make it I used Glimmer Butterflies.
The butterfly body was made using a die from Meadow Butterfly by Simon Says Stamp.
I also used a glimmer plate and die from Diamon Floral Frame Glimmer set.

Spellbinders August 2021 Stamp of the Month

The Stamp of the Month is called Sending Floral Wishes.

It includes 9 individual stamps and I paired it with the Large Die of this month to make a mini slimline card.

I also made e a mini gift box to feature this stamp set.

This box measures 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ inches and it is 1″ inch deep. You can make it in any size.

To make it, I first white heat embossed the floral image on a corner of the panel prior to assembling.
Using a sentiment from the stamp set, I also stamped a tag.
Then , I added a buterfly made out of vellum using Glimmer Butterflies hot plates and dies.
The butterfly body was made using a die from Meadow Butterfly by Simon Says Stamp
I also added a little die cut behind the tag made using a die from the Large Die of this month.
To finish I added Fashion Gold Embellismnets.

APG Spellbinders Kit of the Month AugusT 2021

Say hello to Lattice Petal Foldover die set- The Amazing Paper Grace die of this month.

I used the dies included in the set to make the box lid and a butterfly-shaped embellishment.

This box measures 3-3/8 x 3-3/8 ” inches and it is 2″ inches deep.

To complete the butterfly I also used a die from Meadow Butterfly die set ( Butterfly body).
The hot foiled sentiment was made using Mini Everyday Glimmer Sentiments and polished brass hot foil.
