DIY Gingerbread Tags and Cards

Hi crafty friends, I’m sharing easy and quick Gingerbread tags and card ideas using the Gingerbread Tag die set by Simon Says Stamp.

Although the die set will cut a tag with a little hole for the string, you can cover it using die cuts to create Gingerman toppers for cards or boxes.

To give you some ideas, I used dies from the Winter Wardrobe die set by Tim Holtz to add a scarf and a hat to the Gingerman.

The Process

These tags measure 3″ x 2-1/2″ inches.
They are very easy to use.
Top Tip: always remember to use very little glue.

Tags Recipe

• Sand, blue, red and green cardstock (listed in the supplies list here).
• Gingerbread Tag Wafer Dies
• Tiny Words Christmas stamp set ( small sentiments stamped on the tags)
• Winter Wardrobe die set ( scarf, florals, and hat)
• Tim Holtz Sizzix Woven 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder ( to add texture to the die-cut scarf)
• Mocha Pawsitively Ink ( applied at the edges of the Ginigerman)
• A black pen ( For the eyes)
• Nuvo Crystal Glaze (to add glossy accents)
• Misti Precision Glue Press
• Misti Stamping Tool.

I made C6 – American standard-size cards ( 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″)

You can make similar projects in any size and colour.
