Hello crafty friends, turning basic shapes into 3D projects is my thing so here is a super easy idea to make Easter treat holders using the new SSS Bunny Egg wafer dies and coordinating stencil.
You can do this with any basic shape die but the SSS Bunny Egg is absolutely darling and the size is perfect for a small treat (3-1/2″ x 2 -3/4″ inches).
The SSS Bunny Egg wafer dies and coordinating stencil are from the latest release by Simon Says Stamp called Just For You, filled with beautiful products to make papercraft projects for the upcoming season.
SSS Bunny Egg Treat Holder Recipe
- Dies and Stencil Bunny Egg set
- You can get the Bunny Egg die set or the Bunny Egg stencil individually
- The sentiment is from the Bunny Blessing stamp set

- Tool ‘N One
- Tim Holtz Tonic Maxi Guillotine
- Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Everyday Scissors
- Very Very Low Tack Tape
- Neenah Classic Crest 110 Lb Cardstock (Thick- 300 grams)
- Gold cardstock
- VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink ( for sharp stamped sentiments)
- Sunbean, Grapefruit, Cheeky, and Morning Pawsitively Saturated Inks

Box Making Process
- These mini treat holders measure 3-1/2″ x 2 -3/4″ x 1″ inches.
- The handle was made with a 1/2″ x 11″ inches cardstock strip.
- For the mini box, you will need a 3″x 4″ inches piece of cardstock and score at 1″inch around the edges. You can make it slightly wider if you want to.
- When working with dies that cut many pieces in one go, I like to use a well-worn cutting plate underneath the paper so that the die cuts will stay together over it.
- As you can see in the video, I also did stencilling when the die cuts were still over the plate and then carefully lift the whole piece to glue it on a background piece.
- It is important to be light-handed and to be careful so the die-cuts don’t fall apart making this work super easy and quick.
