Hello crafty friends, phew what a day! I’m a bit late with my blog post for today to share about a new Xmas-themed Anita Jeram Release.
The good thing is that I’m finally here. So sorry for the inconvenience.
We had a minor repair at home that during the last couple of months become a large one… So recently all my post has been written and posted the same day I make the projects.
Anyways… Here I have two freshly made cards using :
- Getting Ready stamp set and coordinating die set
- Hiding Presents stamp set and coordinating die set.
Anita Jeram Slimline Shecker Card
The Cardmaking Process
- This slimline checker card measures 4″ x 9″ inches.
- To make it, I used Getting Ready stamp set and coordinating die set.
- First, I stamped the images on Strathmore whatercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink and the Misti stamping tool.
- Then, I applied colours using Zigs [as shown in the video here]
- Next, I die-cut the images using the coordinating die set and the Platinum 6″ Spellbinders die cutting machine.
- For the banner I used a sentiments from SSS Slimlime Christmas Sentiments Strips.
- I though that a decorative embossed frame will take this super simple card to the next level so that I used a die from Fluted Classics Slimline Die set that is gorgeous!
- I also used acetate, conffetti , and thin Heffy Doodle Foam tape to create the shecker.
- To add a decorative accent to the eyes, I used a Sakura black glaze pen and I used a sakura white gel pen to ad highlights.

The Cardmaking Process
- To make this 5×7 inches card, I used Hiding Presents stamp set and coordinating die set.
- First, I stamped the images on Strathmore whatercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink and the Misti stamping tool.
- Then, I applied colours using Zigs [as shown in the video here].
- Next, I used the coordinating dies and the Platinum 6″ Spellbinders die cutting machine to die-cut the images.
- For the banner I used a sentiments from SSS Slimlime Christmas Sentiments Strips.
- The decorative embossed frame was made using dies from Fluted Classics Circles Die set.
- I also used a Sakura black glaze pen to add glossy accents to the rabbit.
- To embellish, I used Spellbinders Crystal Mix color Essential Gems.

My favorite from this release, is the bunny hiding the present. But, Bibi, I just love what you did with the bunny hanging his stocking on the tree. I would never have thought of that.
