Hi crafty friends, welcome to my blog and to Spellbinders Club Kits February 2021 Inspirational Blog Hop.
For today I wanted to do something for boys! and for girls!
I made 6 super easy projects using products from the Card Kit of the Month and number dies from the Large Die of the Month.
In the video below I show you the products in action, the card-making process and also a C6 envelope solution for 3D cards.
Boys Birthday Card

Most of the time I’m making feminine cards but my son Harris is turning 5 next week.
So I decided to combine die-cut shapes from the Card Kit of the Month with a sentiment and the number 5 from the Large Die of the Month to make this super simple slimline card.
I used the larger die from Slimline Trio die set to die-cut the background panel of this card, and to create the clouds, I used a Cloudy Days stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
I splattered the paper with Sparkle Silk and a mix of dark blue ink with water.

You can create projects in any size using supplies included in the Card Kit of the Month in combination with the number dies from Large Die of the Month.

Reward Card

As some cards in this post have loads of dimension, I also used the FSJ Envelo-Box die set to make envelopes for my C6 cards today.
This die-set is a must have if you are making 4-1/4x 5-1/ inches tridimentional cards.
SpellBinders Card Kit of the Month
“Let Your Heart Soar“ , the card kit of this month includes:
- PCS die set.
- 6 PCS stamp set.
- 6×6 inches paper pad ( 40 sheets – 20 designs, 2 sheets each design).
- 1 pack chipboard frames
- 1 pack die-cut shapes
- Cardstock.
- Adhesives.
- Card bases and envelopes.
- Sequins.
- 3D Stickers.
Spellbinders Large Die of the Month
- It is a beautiful number die set.
- It includes 13 dies. 9 numbers. 1 small die to cut a stick, the word happy, and ordinal indicators ( -st, -nd, -rd, -th )
Girls Cards

I also wanted to play a little bit with the die-cut shapes.

I guess one of the biggest benefits of the Card Kit is that you don’t need to do any die-cutting or stamping but just enjoy relaxing layering
