Hi there, for today I made super simple Christmas cards using Picture Book Santa Pup and Large Outline Happy by Simon Says Stamp, also to share ideas using textured paper.
I adore picture books dies and I should use them more often. They are great to make cards for any occasion.

Another supply I might be neglecting is the cotton handmade paper by Tonic Studios.
It is very thin but some of the patterns are unique and they are great for die-cutting shapes and why not for the front panel of a card.
I decided to take some of this paper out and put it into good use so I added to the Santa Pups little die-cut hats made out of red and white handmade paper.
I also used one of the most gorgeous iridescent cardstock colours ever !!! Just perfect for Xmas projects: Fire Stone.
Just by using these papers I gave a completely different look and feel to the pup.
the sentiment
For the sentiments in these cards, I also used textured paper, for the card above I used gold mirror cardstock.
For the box topper below I used my hot foil remnants to create a patterned paper that I later die cut using Large Outline Happy by Simon Says Stamp
I was experimenting and I wanted to see how the word “Happy” might look using my foil paper scraps.
To do this, I simply adhered to several stripes of 1/4″ double-sided tape (one after the other one) over a cardstock panel.
Then, one by one I exposed he adhesive and I adhered red and gold foil scraps accordingly.
Thats all for today.
I hope you enjoy this post
Happy crafting
