It’s perfect for my son Harris’ teachers and personal assistants 💙 Harris is #autistic, and also the sweetest boy. We are so lucky to have people around him who work every day to make his life better.

These cards came together this morning - last minute - for an @alexsyberiadesigns Instagram hop + giveaways today ( in the previous post) ✨

Life is busy (as seen my stories 😅), and honestly…I was thinking on what to do with the new supplies since I got them BUT I had no real plan.

I just grabbed my supplies, stopped overthinking, and went on autopilot.

That’s how these simple cards happened …easy, unfussy, made from the heart ❤️

Because crafting doesn’t have to be complicated to mean something.

How do you feel about craft room organisation?

For me, it’s overwhelming 🥴

Here I’m organising my @altenewllc inks in 60-slot ink storage racks - and I’m missing labels.

There comes a point when you can’t escape it.
You need to organise. And let’s be honest, for many of us that’s a HUGE job.

Decluttering is OMG!

I’ve been sharing in my stories (again 😄) my attempt to create a space that feels inviting.

I got it refurbished with new walls, ceiling, and floor, and I’ve been building a few storage cabinets with my own bare hands.

When you’re a crafty blogger and packages keep arriving, you constantly need to make room for new supplies.

You start to feel short on storage and, more importantly, short on space to create.

This is all about making creativity easier.

Sadly, over the last few years, life called for bigger challenges.

My craft room had started to look like a warehouse, with boxes piling up to the roof.

Finding supplies became hard, and getting things done felt more and more challenging.

When life is already intense, the last thing you need is a space that adds mental overload.

Creating is freeing, but the mess became disabling.

It’s been a two-and-a-half-month process. I’ve been trying to create and edit videos and blog posts for you along the way.

I currently have 40 draft posts (no kidding), but many of you know I’m also a mother of two autistic kids. They demand loads of time, love, and attention.

I juggle things as best I can, but I’m human. Blogging is time-consuming, and let’s not even talk about how long video editing takes. I love it though!

So I keep my spirits up by reminding myself that every day, I’m closer to having the space I need to get my creative juices flowing.

❤️ Today’s projects were inspired by DIY kids’ ideas I found on Pinterest. Instead of scissors, I used the new Rounded Heart Die Set by Simon Says Stamp, which features an A2-sized heart along with 10 different heart sizes.

As my craft room is currently being refurbished (and almost finished!), I didn’t have many supplies on hand, so I kept it simple … I also would have loved to add a few pun-intended sentiments and customise the cards for different occasions but I couldn’t reach my stamps!

I hope these little projects get your creative juices flowing and inspire you to create together with your kids. 💛
