From School Bus to Delivery Truck | Big Bus Simon Says Stamp

Hello crafty friends, sometimes the best ideas come from looking at a die in a completely different way, and today I’m sharing a project using the Big Bus die by Simon Says Stamp with a fun twist.

So instead of creating a traditional yellow school bus, I turned it into a soft, neutral delivery truck filled with gifts.

It is such a simple shift, but it completely changes the feel of the design.

With just a few changes, you can turn it into many different things: a flower delivery van, a pet shop van, an ice cream truck, a travel camper, or really anything you can imagine.

You need to change the colours and mix and match with other dies from your stash to tell a completely different story every time.

Cardstock Colour Combo

For this project, I used a beautiful selection from the Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock range. I kept everything soft, warm, and slightly muted to give the card a fun and versatile look.

Colour combination used:

• Fawn
• Acorn
• Alabaster
• Sicily
• Sage
• A touch of black for contrast (wheels)

This palette feels cosy and modern, and it works for so many occasions, not just birthdays.
