While this collection has a strong San Valentine’s feel (perfect timing!), the designs are intentionally versatile and can easily be used for cards all year round, not just for love-themed occasions.
I wanted to keep things very simple and approachable, so I paired the medallions with easy stencilled backgrounds.
Postage Love
For this A2 top-fold card, I used the Postage Stamps cover die and stencil
The postage-style stencil works beautifully as a base piece that you can later fill with smaller stamped images or die-cut elements.
Love Yourself
For the following A2 top-fold cards, I used the Classic Stripes Stencil to create quick backgrounds that add interest without adding complexity.
The Classic Stripes Stencil is another great staple — you can line up the stripes in different directions to create grids, panels, or subtle patterns, and it works in absolutely any colour combination. This makes it ideal for fast card-making and for stretching your supplies beyond one specific theme.
Overall, the idea behind these cards was to keep the designs clean, quick, and repeatable, while still showcasing how easily this new release can be mixed and matched to create cards for many occasions, not just Valentine’s Day.
