Altenew Build a Garden Bougainvillea Set

Hello crafty friends, Altenew has invited me to share ideas and inspiration using their latest release and I’m loving the new Build a Garden Bougainvillea Set.

It reminds me of my childhood as in the city I grew up (Cali – Colombia) these flowers are found everywhere making everything prettier.

For the projects in this post, I mixed Altenew Trailblazing Inks and Pawsitively Saturated Inks by Simon Says Stamp.

I also used my old gel press to hold the stencils in place while applying inks… it works like a charm.

To add interest to the front panel I trimmed a piece that measures 5 x 2 inches and I glued the flower over the edge, to then adhere it over the front panel of a C6 card base, slightly inked.

To embellish I used Jewel Gold Mix by Lucy Little Things.
