Easy Hot Foiled and Die-Cut Cards + SSS Intricate Daisies Hot Plates

Hi crafty friends, today I have easy hot foiled and die-cut card ideas for you using beautiful Simon Says Stamp supplies.

Supplies Used

• INTRICATE DAISIES Hot Foil Plates and Dies
• ETCHED LAYERED DAISY STEM Wafer Dies
• LAYERED ROSE LEAVES Wafer Dies s814
• Sentiment Strips BE YOU
• Karin BASIC COLORS Markers

The Sentiments

For the projects today, I used a couple of sentiments from the Sentiment Strips BE YOU pack.

I love any of the pre-printed sentiments by Simon Says Stamps. You can find here all the different occasion sentiments for papercraft projects.

Cards Size

This card measure 4″ x 7-1/2″ inches.

This is a C6 card (4-1/4. x 5-1/2 inches).

You can make cards in any size and add different colours and die-cut elements.

The cardmaking process

• I first trimmed a piece of Polished Brass Glimmer Foil and I hot foiled the images from INTRICATE DAISIES Hot Foil Plates and Dies on Strathmore watercolour paper.

• To do hot foiling, I used the Spellbinders GLIMMER HOT FOIL SYSTEM and the Spellbinders PLATINUM 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
• Then I sprayed the paper with water and I dabbed the yellow, orange and brown markers over the wet areas. the ink spread over the paper and blended.
• Once dried, I die-cut the foiled image with the coordinating die.
• I die cut the stem for the flowers using a die from ETCHED LAYERED DAISY STEM Wafer Dies, as the leaves in the steam are small, I decided to cut leaves using LAYERED ROSE LEAVES Wafer Dies s814

I die-cut the steams and the leaves out of Golden Satin Cardstock from the Gold Hearted Paper Pad which is in my opinion a. must-have.

The Gold Hearted Paper Pad contains absolutely gorgeous gold mirror, glitter, pearlescent, ad satin cardstock.

The Background

A while ago I bought the Lawn Fawn AQUA Textured Canvas Cardstock, this paper is insanely beautiful in flesh.

I was saving it for die-cuts but a solid plain background adds a beautiful organic texture. Hard to catch in pictures.

I simply added the different size panels over card bases made using Neenah Classic Crest 110 LB SMOOTH SOLAR WHITE Cardstock.
