Hello crafty friends! The new Altenew Butterfly Garden -Project Kit is stunning and so super easy to use.
I made a C6/A2 card (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2) with loads of sparkle to show you the new goodies.
Oh! To give you extra ideas, I’m also sharing a fun stencilling technique using Bibi’s Tuscany Earth’s intense Liquid Colors.
So I’m using liquid watercolor paints and no inks to work with stencils.
It is key to use watercolour paper, Altenew’s Mini Blending Brushes and very little paint.

I’m also joining the Altenew January 2025 Release Instagram Hop.

In the video, you can see a sneak peek of the Altenew Release Paste that will be released next month!! Gorgeous!!

Tuscany Earth Colors
I was inspired by the Tuscany landscape colours to put together the Intense Liquid Colours – Tuscany Earth’s color palette.
It is a truly beautiful combination of warm and cold tones. Burnt Orange / Terracotta, green, blue, and black that can be blended together to create more shades.
The colour blend will depend pretty much on the person who is creating it.
It doesn’t matter which media I’m using, I achieve similar colour blends always
Now, if you want to add sparkle to your projects. You have 4 colours to choose from in the Bibi’s Sparkle Base – Pack.
I used Bronze Sparkle Base to add some splatters and shine through the stencils.
Mixed Media Look and Feel Anyone?
