Hello crafty friends, I’m passing by to share an easy DIY Pop-Up Floral card idea featuring the new Aurora Blooms die set by Simon Says Stamp.
This type of project might look complex and intimidating but it is a lot easier than you think, it is super fun and allows you to exercise creativity.
Once you make one sample you will be able to adapt the pop-up to your own creative ideas.
The Cardmaking Process
POP-UP FLORAL CARD recipe
- Aurora Blooms die set by Simon Says Stamp.
- Nested Round Hearts die set
- Happy Birthday Brush Scrip Die set
- 250 grams white cardstock ( for the card base)
- 250 grams coloured cardstock (for the flowers)
- Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine.
- 12″ inches scoring Board
- Misti Precision Glue Press
- Embellishment wand
- Smooth Disc Sequins
Aurora Blooms
Card Parts
- 5×7 inches white card base ( 250 grams cardstock)
- 6-3/4″ x 4-3/3″ decorative and stabilizing inner panels
- Main mechanism pieces:
Each piece measures 1/2″ x 8-1/2″
Scored every inch
Folded and glued as shown in the video here. - Mechanism Arms: 1/4″ x length desired.
