It seems inevitable to me… So sorry, I’m using the Butterfly Card Creator a lot and for today, I paired it with the new Blissful Bouquet stamp and die set by Simon Says Stamp to make Z fold-shaped cards.
Blissful Bouquet
Blissful Bouquet stamp and die set is a combo of a 13 pieces stamp set and 9 cutting dies.
The stamp set is large (6×8 stamp set) and it contains 9 floral images and 4 sentiments.

Z Fold Butterfly-Shaped Cards
*** These are 5×7 inches cards. The card base is C6 (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″)
So when I started crafting, I just wanted to enjoy watercolours and I had an idea in mind to make a 5×7 inches card.
Then, I suddenly wanted to see how an arrangement of the floral images would look over a “5×7” butterfly-shaped die-cut.
It looks so good. I had to show you this option.
This time I tried a different fold for the card base…
I used contrasting cardstock colours so you can see the super easy fold ( It will be better to make the card base in a single colour)
To make the card base all you need is a C6 card base (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″) then score a line at 1/2″ from the edge of the front panel.
Then place the butterfly aligned with the side and bottom edge of the card base and stick it in place.
You can do this with any other die -cut and I’ll be showing this in the next video -post.
What is good about the butterfly is that provides loads of room and interest to the projects so it is a must-have.

Oh! I added a hint of colour to the right wing of the butterfly using ink that was on my blending brushes ( meaning I only used the ink on the brush – a mix of green and pink inks for each card).
