Hello there, welcome to the SSS Good Luck Charm release blog hop – Day 2. For today I made 3 easy projects using the new Daffodil Field Background Stamp and Basic Box Card Happy Birthday wafer die.
Daffodil Field Stamp

Daffodil Field is a 6×6 inches background stamp great to apply tone on tone stamping or a wide variety of techniques.
Today I did embossing resist, using WOW embossing powders.
C6 Daffodil Field Birthday Card

To make this C6 card, I stamped the image from the Daffodil Field background stamp on Arches watercolor paper ( Cold Press 300 grams) using clear Versamark ink and with the help of the Misti.
Then, I applied silver embossing powder ( included in the WOW embossing powders starter kit here) and I heated set it using the Wow embossing gun.

- Next, I added colour using yellow and green Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints.
- Using a brush, I applied water on the paper and then I dropped in the colour. I wasnt’ worried about the paint mixing together.
- I allowed this to dry and then I splaterred white and black Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints diluted with water and Spellbinders Sparkle Silk .

- For the sentiment, I used Basic Box Card Happy Birthday wafer die.
- I die-cut 3 sentiments out of Neenah 110 Lb and one from Holo Waves Mirror cardstock ( this cardstock is simply spectacular)
- Using Nuvo Deluxe adhesive, I glued the 4 die-cut sentiment together and added them to the card.
Daffodil Birthday Tag

I wanted to see how the same idea could be applied to a tag.
So I used the 2 largest dies from the Nested Tags die set to die cut the tag.
This time I used Wow Gold Embossing Powder included in the WOW embossing powders starter kit.
For the sentiment, I die-cut 3 sentiments out of Neenah 110 Lb and one from Inca Gold Mirror ( any of the iridescent cardstock by Tonic are beautiful)
Daffodil Field Sending You Healing Vibes C6 Card

- I also had the idea to cut the flowers out of the Daffodil Field background.
- So I first stamped the image using Rich Cocoa Memento ink on Neenah 110 Lb.
- Then, I fussy cut some flowers out of the staped panel and I applied colour using Copics ( alcohol markers)
- Next, I glued a Matte Gold Privert Branch die-cut over a panel I previously embossed using SSS Exotic Vines embossing folder.
- Then, I stuck the flowers overt the goldern branch.
- The sentiment is from the new Well Wishes Stamp set and it was white heat embosssed on black cardtsock.
- I used WOW white embossing powder included in the WOW embossing powders starter kit and the Wow Heat Tool.
