Hello everyone, I’m absolutely loving the new stamps designed by Kris Lauren for Colorado Craft Company.
I received the mice and floral-themed stamp sets but they also have “Gnomes” and they are also gorgeous.

Cardmaking Process
- First, I stamped all the images from the different mice themed stamp sets in the release on Arches watercolor paper using Versamark Black Onix Ink.
- Then, I applied color using Zigs and a Nuvo Water Brush ( water base markers).
- Next, I die-cut the images using the Spellbinders Platinum die-cutting machine to be used on different cards.
- For the card above (5×7 inches) , I used a die included in Eyelete Lace [ available at SSS here – CCC here ] to die cut a panel of watercolor paper.
- Then, I stamped the background using the large flower from the “Happy Peony stamp set” and I also used the butterfly included in this stamp set.
- For this card, I chose simplicity and I just die cut a piece of Neenah 110lb cardstock using dies from Fluted Classic Rectangles [ available at SSS here – CCC here]
- Then, I used some of the images to create a very simple composition.
- As the little mouse looks a bit blue, I decided to use the sentiment: “I miss our Get-Togethers!” from the Mouse House stamp set [ Available at SSS here and CCC Here].

Cheerful and fun new illustrator! These mice are A.dor.a.ble and your cute coloring make them sweeter. The little dots are a great touch for fur, I have trouble making dots that dont look like dandruff. The flowers look fresh picked.

When I was a kid I put a butterfly into my pet mouse’s house so they could be friends. It didn’t go well. This is a reenactment of that childhood innocence.
