Spellbinders November 2021 Club Kits Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Spellbinders November 2021 Club Kits Blog Hop.

I have four projects to share with you today. One of them using the APG Die of The Month and three featuring the Large Die of the Month.

Slimline Cards

I wanted to keep it simple, so I just made very basic die-cutting and enjoyed doing some layering using dies from Christmas Foliage Strip & Borders – large Die of the month.

While experimenting with the die I put together the card above but soon, I realized that the poinsettia border die alone could create a CAS (Clean and simple) background for a slimline card.

Perfect for mass-production, plus the border is absolutely gorgeous. It is impossible to catch its beauty in pictures.

These cards measure 3-3/4 ” x 8-3/4″ inches.

Gift Box

As I fell in love with the poinsettia border die included in Christmas Foliage Strip & Borders – large Die of the month.

I also decided to make a gift box. It measures 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 and it is 2-1/2 ” inches deep.

So you can use any of the borders dies to decorate 3D papercraft projects.

To die-cut, the little buildings, trees, the Santa sleight, and the sentiment ” Merry Christmas” I used dies from Spellbinders Silent Night die set.

This is such an adorable die set designed to coordinate with “Make a Scene Etched Die Collection by Becca Feeken”

To complete this project, I also used Fluted Classics Squares Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken.

These layering dies, cut and emboss the edges of the paper in a very beautiful way.

They are available in all the basic shapes, Squares, Circles, Ovals, Rectangles, and Slimline Rectangles.

Pop Up 3D Vignette Christmas Tree

Last but not least I was keen to try the new Pop Up 3D Vignette Christmas Tree – APG of this month.

It will create a tridimensional Christmas tree that folds flat for easy mailing. In the video here you can see assembling instructions.

All the vignettes designed by Becca Feeken are assembled in the same way and you can find them in a variety of shapes and styles.

This card measure 5″ x 5-1/3″ inches so I made an envelope using the envelope punch board.

    Everything is so beautiful. I love the poinsettia border too, it is by far my favorite, but I love how well the others layer with it. Great idea to wrap a box in the border!

    You never fail to please and inspire and these projects are no exception. I usually am hard pressed to pick one out of all as a favorite; but this time I must admit it is the box. All are lovely and color choices are always spot on; but this charming box stole my heart. Love it!
