I love Suzy’s prints as you only require a colouring medium to get crafty.
However, you can use coloured pencils or alcohol markers to apply colour to this kind of prints.
Suzy’s Easter Pals Watercolor Prints
These prints are available in packs of 12 . You get 6 designs -2 each.
They are C6 panels ( 4-1/4×5-1/2″ inches).
I couldn’t help myself and I trimmed the image off the panel to make this large-format card.
This card measures 4″ x 8-3/4″ inches.
I used a variety of Zig marker colours. For the bunny I used mainly grey shades.
To add shadows I used Grey Blue, Dark Brown and Black Zig Markers.
For the sentiment, I used Bunny Kisses Wafer die by Simon Says Stamp, Black Gloss Mirror Card and white cardstock
I die-cut three sentiments out of white cardstock and one time out of a black gloss mirror cardstock then I stack them up to make it look more dimensional.
- I simply die-cut a panel using the larger die from Slimline Stitches Trio.
- Then I sprayed it using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Spray.
- Next, I applied Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks.
- I sprayed water to create white spackles.
- Once the panel was dry, I splattered black distress ink diluted with water.
Using a die from Horizon Slimline Borders I die cut grass to add at the bottom of the panel. The grass was coloured using green Distress inks.
I also added lashes to teh bunny using a 0.3 Zig Millenium tip pen (Waterproof) .
To apply accents, I used Crystal Glaze over the nose of the bunny, Nuvo Aztec Gold Glitter Accents on the center of the flowers on the green egg the bunny is holding in his hand, and Chalk White Nuvo Stone Drops on the dots of the orange egg.
The butterflies are from another print in the pack (The one with a Hanging Easter Egg). I sadly spoiled my panel and I decided to save at least the butterflies.
