Hello there, welcome to Spellbinders March 2021 Kits Inspirational Blog Hop.
Today I’m using :
- The Large Die ( critter and small flowers)
- Amazing Paper Grace (Manson Jar and large flowers)
- Rose Gold Hot Foil and 2 of the 5 glimmer plates included in the Hot Foil Kit this month.
Note: To use Glimmer Plates ( hot plates ) you may need a Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System and the Spellbinders die cutting machine.
How I Made These Cards?
First let me tell you that on the 1st of each month I share Spellbinders kits ideas in a single blog post.
This month I made 12 projects in the blog post here and I got several leftover die-cuts and hot foiled panels.
So I decided to use those pieces to put together two easy slimline cards for today.
WISHING YOU BLUE SKIES TODAY & ALWAYS
This card measures 9″ x 4″ inches.
- First, I die-cut a slimline panel and I hot foiled the sentiments using 1 of the glimmer plates included in the Spellbinders Hot Foil System and Rose Hot Foil.
- Then, I glued over the panel some flowers made using Mini 3D Vignette Floral Manson Jar – APG Kit of this month.
- To add a watercolour look to all the images in this card, I applied watercolour paints on watercolour paper. I allow it to dry and I die cut it. That’s the quickest, fun and easy way to add colours to die cuts.
Note: the chick and the little flower in his hand were made using dies from the Large Die of this month.
The mini tag die in the APG die set, is also super cute so I added it to both of the cards today.
I also stamped small sentiments from Tiny Words Encouragement stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.

The Amazing Paper Grace– APG this month will create a stunning 3 D card and I made one in my blog post here.
So for today, I wanted to share something different and I just used the die-cuts to create a topper for this card.
I also mixed some little flowers using dies from Spring Together with Lever Pull – Large Die of this month.
Both florals and critters made using the Spellbinders kits this month can be used individually or in combination with any other dies or stamps in your stash to make papercraft projects in any size for any occasion.
