Hello Everyone, Honey Bee Stamps Stamps started to reveal the new “Fall Release” today and it is amazing! I have the feeling that every day they will be launching an even more beautiful and incredible Stamp Set but all of them filled with beautiful images to enjoy coloring.
Today I’m using Happy Fall Y’all a stamp set with 16 individual Stamps. Sunflowers and Bees!! I’ll be sharing more projects and videos on Tuesday (September 19) and Wednesday ( September 20) so make sure to come back or to subscribe to my Youtube channel here!
The release will be fully revealed on Friday, September 22 here! with lots of ideas and inspiration from the Design Team along this week.
To make the card above I stamped the images using the Tim Holtz Platform, a masking technique using posting notes and Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp the images. I didn’t want hard lines or outlines but I have to recognize that the stamped images look beautiful in black too and when stamping with black ink is easier and quicker to add colors.
I had the idea to create a scene in which the flowers are celebrating the new season and insteadof confetti, they are trowing leaves and dew drops. Hmmm… I think the idea can be improved. š
To add colours to these cards I applied my crazy coloring style. I call it like that becasue it is an invitation to do an expontaneous coloring process. Not thinking too much on what you are doing or where are the stamped lines and where you have to add shodows or light etc… The only thing to bear in mind is using a good quality paper (I like to use Bristol paper or watercolor paper 300grams cold pressed when using water based coloring tools) and I laydown lighter colours first and then I go with darkest colors.
Note: water-based markers won’t work nicely on regular cardstock.. the results won’t be rewarding so I highly recommend using the right paper.
I used Zigs ( water-based markers) and to add details and shadows I used colored pencils (Faber Castell Polychromos).

That’s all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by and I really hope you like the projects today.
