Making gift bags is very easy with the new Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin’ Up! I love it! After trying it once or twice it takes 1 minute or less to punch out a bag and the assembly is done in a flash . I used strong double sided tape and glue to paste it together.

With the Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin’ Up! it is possible to make bags in 3 sizes : S, M, L but I manage to make an XS bag or small treats packaging. I also made a tote bag – treat holder using this board and I ‘m pretty sure that making and XL size can be possible too. Find more about this tool in my video tutorial🙂
Gif Bag sizes
Any gift bag made with the Gift Bag Punch Board will have the same depth which is 2″ inches (5.1cm) . You can choose your desired length – height of the bag and style. Find the width of the finished gift bags in the picture below.

How to Trim the paper to make a perfect Gift Bag?

Cutting the paper in the right way it is important. You only need to know which is the required width of the paper to make the different bag sizes . Remember you can choose your desired length. The length of the paper is the height of the bag.
Paper width :
XS Gift Bag: 8.5″ (21.5 cm)
S Gift Bag: 10″ (25.5 cm)
M Gift Bag: 11″ (27.9 cm)
L Gift Bag: 12″ (30.5 cm)
Which stamp sets I used to make the labels on the gift bags?
I use sentiments from different stamps set. I mix them to suit my needs. this time I use only 1 stamp of 3 sets: For the new Two, B.Y.O.P and Sprinkles of live.
I used Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper to decorate the bags
