Hi everyone, welcome to Tonic Studios Garden Party Stamping Release  Blog Hop – Day 2!

Garden Party introduces a  small collection of very versatile stamp sets and it includes critters, florals and sentiments.

Yesterday on the first part of this hop here I shared card samples using the critters stamps.

 Today,  I’m sharing a couple of cards featuring  Botanical Burst Stamp set.

Botanical Burst is a wreath and frame builder stamp set but you can use it to create endless compositions no only for cards but also for 3D projects. 

For the card above, I applied a no- line colouring technique. 

I stamped the images using Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink and I applied colours using Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens.

For the card below, I did some heat embossing using Clear ink + Nuvo fine detail silver Embossing Powder.

I added colour using  Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens as well. 

I also used white embossing powder to heat emboss a banner from “Celebrate Sentiments” stamp set and one of the greetings from Botanical Burst stamp set.

I like to apply a little bit of the ink from the pen directly on the paper and I  then blend the colour using a Nuvo water brush in that way I keep it simple and easy.

    I was in Scotland on a tour in July.
    Beautiful country. Thoroughly
    enjoyed the trip. The bouquets
    of flowers are gorgeous. I've
    not tried the no-line coloring
    but must give it a whirl.

    Bibi, I love this floral grouping. The water coloring is pretty, however, the bright vibrant #2 card really caught my eye. Beautiful job. 🙂
