Die-Cut Santa Slimline Xmas Cards Spellbinders Kit October 2020

Hi there, I made a couple of slimline cards to feature the super cute die-cut Santa and other elements included in Dancing Santa Spellbinders Kit of the Month – September 2020.

The die set in the kit this month will allow you to create a super sweet die-cut Santa, perfect for cards, tags, and boxes or any other crafty project you might have this Christmas.

It measures 3″ inches tall x 2- 1/2″ inches wide and with the arms wide open.

As always the kit includes over 200 products to enjoy papercraft.

DIE-CUT SANTA SLIMLINE CARDS

I thought that I should make a couple of slimline cards as this format gives more room to play.

So I used pre-printed die-cut shapes included in the kit that coordinates perfectly with the die-cut Santa made using the die set included in the kit as well.

So I just die cut all the pieces to create a couple of Santas and layered elemenets as you can see on each card.

I also used a slimline rectangular die here to die cut the background panels of these cards.

XMAS MINI GIFT BOX

As a bonus project, I also made a couple of mini boxes using “Dancing Santa Xmas pre-printed die-cut shapes ” and a couple of sheets of paper from Dancing Santa 6×6 inches paper pad included in the kit.

By the way, you can buy the pre-printed die-cut shapes and so the paper pad individually.

To make the boxes, I used the envelope punch board and 6×6 inches sheets of paper.

For the tags, I simply layered some die cut shapes to make the little tags attached to the boxes.

In my very old video here that shows how to make the boxes.

• The paper to make these boxes measure 6″x6″ inches. ( size of the paper pad in this kit)
• Use the envelope punch board to punch and score the paper at 2″ and 4″ inches.
• Fold or cut the corners to assemble the box as shown in the video.
