Hello, Crafty Friend. Alex Siberya sent me her March Collection- Chic Shoes, and OMG, it is so pretty!
Cardmaking with Shoe Die-Cuts
In the video, I’m featuring the new Chic Shoes Die Set and hot-foiled sentiments made with the Shoes Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set from this release.
These elegant shoes are perfect for creating beautiful bridal, bridesmaid, quinceañera, or Sweet 16 cards. The design works wonderfully for celebrations and special milestones, and the mirror cardstock adds a luxurious touch that makes the shoes really stand out.
The Paper is Important

I used a combination of mirror, pearlecent, and smooth coloured cardstock to create the bold, vibrant look of these cards.
For the bright red and blue tones, I used mirror cardstock from the Royal Elegance Mix Cardstock and Christmas Sparkle Mix Cardstock paper packs.
I also added Fire Stone Mirror Cardstock – different wine-red shade and holographic.

For the deep burgundy layer, I used Merlot Cardstock.
The blue cardstock I used is Spellbinders Rain Drop (now discontinued), but a very similar colour is currently available called Windy.
Accents and Details

You can elevate your card designs by adding metallic accents and details.
I embellished with die-cut stars, and musical notes. I’m also adding an idea to add stencilled stars and gold splatters.
That is all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
