Hello Crafty friends, Today I’m sharing two cheerful handmade cards featuring layered daisies, a hand motif, and a soft argyle stencilled background.
I’m obsessed with the background pattern. It is super versatile, and I’ll be sharing more ideas soon.
Today, cards are side-fold A2 cards, ideal for expressing gratitude and love with a personal touch.
Each design combines stencilling, die-cut layering, and a touch of dimension to create an eye-catching finish.
The background was softly ink-blended through the Argyle Builder stencil, while the focal elements. The hands and flowers were layered for depth and texture
Both cards include simple pre-printed sentiments: “Thankful for you” and “Thank you for your love and care”, and I turned one of them into a mini tag hanging from the floral arrangement for the blue card.

- Giant HUgs Card Wrap Wafer Dies – Die-cut hands
- Mini Interactive Envelope Wafer Dies – Die-cut mini envelope and mini note card.
- Sentiment Strips Giving Thanks – Pre-printed sentiments
- Tim Holtz Sizzix WOVEN 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder – Texture to the neck details.
- I also used Simon Says Stamp white A2 Side-Fold Scored Cards. These card bases are stunning. The paper is gorgeous.
Pawsitivley Saturated Inks Used
Pink Card: Cheeky, Symbean, and Charcoal.
Blue Card: Sea Foam. Sunmbean, and Carcoal.
Inl blended accents to the flowers: Punch, Cherry for the pink flowers, and Cetrine, Mandarine, and Allspice for the yellow flowers.
Crafting Tips
- Use a gel press to keep your stencil in place while blending.
- Layer flower die cuts with foam tape for a realistic 3D effect.
- Add small accents like pearls or glitter hearts for an elegant finishing touch.
You can make these cards in any colour and for any occasion…
The die-cut hands can hold any other shape…
