Let’s Talk About Dark Backgrounds | SSS Country Basket Bouquet

Hi, crafty friends! Today I’m featuring the Country Basket Bouquet and Double Loop Bow from Simon Says Stamp.

I paired these beautiful dies with a rich, dark cardstock background and golden elements, one of the easiest ways to create instant contrast and a striking card designs.

For this project, I die-cut the flowers and leaves from white cardstock and coloured them with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks: Citrine, Iris, Royal, Pearfection and Pine.

For the basket I used cradt cardstock and I applied Woodsy and Allspice around the edges.

Placing the bouquet against a dark background creates beautiful contrast, making every colour look richer and more vibrant. Even the gold mirror cardstock becomes much more striking,
