SSS Special Friend Stamps & Flower Frame Embossing Folder

Hello Crafty friends, for today I have made a sweet friendship card featuring the adorable Special Friend Stamps and Dies paired with the beautifully textured Flower Frame Simon Says Stamp Embossing Folder.

I hope you like it!

Our Friendship is Special To Me

This is an A2 card, measuring 5½” × 4¼”.

I stamped the images from the Special Friend Stamps and Dies onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper using Simon Says Stamp Nocturne Black VersaFine Clair Ink.
Then, I added colour using water-based markers (Kuretake Gansai Tambi 6).
Next, I die-cut all the coloured images using the Platinum SIX Die Cutting Machine and set them aside.
For the background:
I embossed a panel of Lavender Cardstock with the Flower Frame Simon Says Stamp Embossing Folder and lightly swiped Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink over the raised areas of the embossed panel to highlight the beautiful texture.
Using Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb Cardstock and the Simon Says Stamp Scoring Board I made an A2 card base
Then, I blended a soft hint of Sage Pawsitively Saturated Ink in the centre of the card base using a Pinkfresh Studio 1″ Blending Brush.
For dimension: I adhered the embossed panel to the card base using Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape, and I stuck the die-cut images over the card as shown with Simon Says Stamp 3D Foam Squares.
The sentiment, “Our friendship is special to me,” was stamped on Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb Cardstock, also using Simon Says Stamp Nocturne Black VersaFine Clair Ink.
The sentiment sits nicely in the bottom right without covering too much of the artwork
