Hello Crafty friends, I’m passing by to share a card idea using the new Layered Lilac By Hero Arts and the Spellbinders Majestic Guitar.
This card measures 4-1/2″ x 6″, but the design can easily be adapted to an A2 or even an A5 card base.
The concept is simple and beginner-friendly, although it does require a little patience because of the small layered details.
The estimated crafting time is around 30- 45 minutes.

Floral Guitar Card Step-by-Step

- Die cut all the pieces needed for the guitar, flowers, leaves, and background layers.
- Using a blending brush, add a little brown Distress Ink around the edges of the guitar body and also along the edges of the first die-cut mat layer.
- Mix a small amount of brown Distress Ink with water and lightly splatter the pieces to add texture and an aged look. Let everything dry.
- Assemble the guitar and adhere it to the front panel using foam adhesive to add dimension.
- Add a little Pine Pawsitively Saturated Ink to the die-cut leaves using a blending brush. Attach the leaves around the guitar with dimensional foam pads.
- Arrange and glue the flowers around the leaves and guitar to create a natural floral cascade. The Hero Arts Layered Lilac die set will made this part easy as it contains a die-cut base to adehre the flowers.
I personally love the small flowers to be used ramdomly… such a besutiful set.
That’s all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
