So to make this card I rubbed my Embossing Buddy on White Shimmery Paper and then I stamped 3 flowers with Versmark clear ink avoiding overlapping the images, then I applied White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and I heat it up.
I applied the inks of this colour challege with Stampin’ write markers and blender pen and I wasn’t concern about the coloring being perfect or achieving a perfect ink blending. I kind of liked howit turns out with its improvised colour imperfection..
Can you notice the difference in the colouring? for the Flirty Flamingo flowers I used blender pens and for the Dadofil Delight flower I used Stampin Write Markers.
I cut a banner out of black cardstock and I stamped and embossed the sentiment with Versmark clear ink and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat it up.
To finish I add embellishments such as black thread, delicate white doilies and Rhinestones and I also add some dots of silver ink near the flowers using a silver metallic marker.
TIPS:
- Rub the Embossing Buddy on the paper before stamping with Clear Versamak Ink and embossing powders.
- Allow your heat gun to warm up before using it on the embossing powders, this will help you to keep the paper flat and get a sharp embossed image.
- For intense colours use Stampin’ Write Markers + White Shimmery paper.
- To get a watercolour look use blender pens + ink pads on watercolour paper or White Shimmery paper( Avoid rubbing blender pens tip in circular motion on the paper . the excesses of water will pill the paper off)
